In Switzerland each year 2 million tonnes of perfectly edible foodstuffs are thrown away. On the other hand, according to the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), 570,000 people live with the existential minimum or below it.
We support those who work actively to promote the recovery of these foods and distribute them to people in need in Switzerland. To date, 125 distribution centres support more than 18,400 people in need. In this way a sustainable, social, sensible and ecological contribution is offered to favor a respectful attitude towards food.
